Open Letter To You

OPEN LETTER TO YOU

For Shirley and Alvin

Originally recorded at Lakeside Studios in 2017, “Open Letter” is definitively the most personal and sentimental song from Tuatha Dea to date. Written by Danny 10 years to the day of the loss of his mother, it expressed all the feelings, emotions and words left unsaid. Almost immediately other members of the band identified with Open Letters heartfelt message and adopted it as their own. Rebecca and Katherine consider it a message to their father. Tesea, her grandmother. The lyrics transcended the original purpose to become a universal catalyst for anyone who did not have the chance to reconcile their personal losses and say everything they wanted to.

This beautiful song was remixed by Sound Biscuit Productions and remastered by Grammy winner Paul Blakemore for a re-release with video in 2020. It has been once again remixed and remastered specifically for “Irish Eyes”.

The recording features prior members Paul McGee on Drums, Chantal Haskell on Violin and founding member Tesea Mullikin on Bass. For anyone who needs it. “Open Letter to You”
